My journey in tech started in 2016 when I transitioned from a background in linguistics to software development after working extensively with IT handbooks as a translator. My passion for technology grew as I immersed myself in coding, leading me to pursue formal education in web development.

I began my career as a front-end developer in 2019, focusing on building interactive, user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Over the years, I expanded my expertise to frameworks like React and Next.js, working on various projects across CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify. My work evolved beyond development into product leadership, where I now specialize in driving web and mobile (Android & iOS) product strategies.

Currently, I serve as the Head of Product at CheckingIn, where I lead the development of white-label mobile apps that empower First Nations communities by preserving their culture and promoting mental well-being.

In addition to my professional work, I am deeply involved in mentoring entry level tech professionals through Web Dev Path, an open-source initiative that supports its members in gaining hands-on experience in software development.

My core skills include product strategy, Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certified), UX/UI collaboration, and cross-functional team leadership. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, I'm accustomed to working in international environments, I thrive in dynamic, collaborative settings where customer-focused innovation drives success.
