Mariana Caldas

A little bit about myself.

I started coding in 2015 when I became interested in Development after translating tons of IT handbooks. Yes, I used to be a translator and a high school teacher. My first degree was a Bachelor of Arts in Languages (Portuguese and Spanish). I also hold a Graphic and Web Development Diploma of a program I finished last year in Vancouver, Canada.

Currently, I am working as a Web Developer/Front-End in two projects, one volunteer and remote for a non-profit organization related to education (my deepest passion in life) and, the other one, for a digital agency in Vancouver. I mostly develop websites from scratch or update them on CMS platforms, such as WordPress. By the way, if you are a non-profit organization that needs a simple website or some help improving or optimizing an existing one, send me a message, it will be a pleasure to collaborate somehow.

Take a look at some of my recent projects.
